2010 by Mr Ilan Feferberg, the company’s
CTO, a graduate of the elite 8200
Israeli Intelligence Corp.

Dr Serena is the founder and CEO of the Serena Group. He has conducted more than 70 clinical trials, published over 150 scientific papers and given more than 250 invited lectures across the globe. He is the incoming president of the American Professional Wound Care Association. He is the vice president of the American Collee of Hyperbaric Medicine. He is a former board member of both the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care and the Wound Healing Society. Currently, he serves as chairman of the AAWC Global Volunteers. He has taught wound care and conducted research in Randa, Cambodia and Haiti. Dr Serena is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the College of William and Mary and Penn State Medical School. He completed his residency in Surgery at the Milton S Hershey Medical Center with training in plastic and re-constructive surgery at Southern Illinois University.
Dr Serena has been involved in product development in the wound care space for more than a dozen years and has a thorough knowledge of the unmet needs in wound care, clinical trial design for regulatory approval and reimbursement.

Dr. Harkless is known for his work in the entire spectrum of diabetic foot and lower extremity amputation prevention. He is currently the Founding Dean of the College of Podiatric Medicine and Professor of Podiatric Medicine, Surgery and Biomechanics Western University of Health Sciences. He has been recognized by the American Diabetes Association and the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio as an Outstanding Educator receiving the ADA Educator of the Year and the Presidential Excellence in Teaching Award, respectively.

Specializing in general, trauma and plastic surgeon, Dr Huljev previously served as head doctor of Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Has participated and taught courses in Management of Chronic Wounds, including specialized courses in Negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT). Dr Huljev has served as a lecturer in postgraduate courses of first category on Medical school in Zagreb as well as in the education of students on the surgical clinic.
Since 2001, Dr Huljev has been involved in chronic wound treatment, prevention and education. He has also developed databases for follow-up patients with chronic wound which include software for automatic wound tissue classification in chronic wounds – WITA with capability to propose typical local treatment for the analyzed wound.
Currently serves as Secretary Emeritus of EMA (European Wound Management Association) Dr is the author or the coauthor of about 50 articles and has participated in international congresses.
Dr. Toscanella graduated from the Second University of Rome “Tor Vergata” in 1992, specializing in
the Diabetes Clinic of Policlinico A. Gemelli, Director
Prof. G.Ghirlanda, with particular interest in the prevention and treatment of diabetic foot.
Since May 1998 Dr Toscanella has served as a consultant in diabetes at the “San Feliciano”nursing home, while continuing to collaborate with Prof. G. Garland.
Since then, Dr Toscanella has continued to specialize in diabetes and the complications occurring as a result of the disease, especially diabetic foot ulcers. Dr Toscanella continues to specialize in the field of diabetic foot in nursing homes and in research.
